inspired by brainsluice
brainsluice has lead me to some other discoveries.
1. The Listener has a web site. I was bought up on the Listener, my mum would buy it every week. It is based on a kiwi CMS called Supermodel .
2. This is not related to brainsluice, but it made me think that stuff.co.nz *really* needs a redesign.
3. I actually found brainsluice when I was looking for a hilarious ad for 42Below vodka . The links I had to the ad (psuedo-crudely done in Flash) nearly made me piss my pants it was so darn funny… anyhoo, they have all mysteriously DISAPPEARED!

A new second level domain has been created in NZ – .geek (by way of brainsluice.com , which is rather amusing I must say).

Vanishing Point
I love this film! Watching it last night gave me more new insights into some of the metaphors and meanings in the film. And that car, that car is a work of art in itself… -
Empowerment
Does the apostrophe cause you to lose your nerve? Never again with this handy reference ! At last I feel I can take control of this grammatical black spot.

Paris
Amazing city. And that metro system puts the London underground to shame. Trips on the Paris Metro of the same duration as what I take in London felt much shorter. This is due to the noise on the tube. The tube screeches and squeals through the heat whereas the trains I used in Paris ran on tyres, and the effect is a smooth quiet ride. The Metro felt much cleaner, everything on the tube is coated with a layer of carcinogenic brake dust. Combined with the heat, no wonder my stress level on the tube is so high.

Paris, city of light
This is the space ship Cygnus from the Disney film ” The Black Hole “. I think that a designer might have been inspired whilst in Paris?
