Holy shite. It has been nearly two weeks since I have even checked my email. It is weird how long it takes to adjust to working, even after a relatively short amount of time off work.

High Society
I don’t think that I’ve ever watched a musical, but I quite liked it. The first thing that I noticed was the lip-sync on the opening number. Louis Armstrong’s band weren’t in time with the soundtrack. But fuck it, it was a cool song. Grace Kelly was stunning. Bing Crosby played the good guy. Frank Sinatra played the lovable common man. The film was shot as though it was more like a stage production. Long shots of dialogue and action. The highlight is the duet between Bing and Louis, and Grace by the swimming pool. Ah, they don’t make em like that anymore.

I kinda liked this film. It was depressing though. Jack was first class. I don’t really know what the point was though.
